LAS VEGAS- A 38-year-old Southern Nevada man was recently diagnosed with West Nile virus. This is the sixth human case of the virus to be reported in Southern Nevada. Fortunately this man has contracted the less serious form of the illness. A 75-year-old woman in Clark County has already died of the virus a few weeks ago. Presently there are four other people diagnosed with the virus. Since 2003, there have been a total of four deaths from West Nile virus in Clark County. The Southern Nevada Health District has found West Nile-positive mosquitos in the 89107 and 89145 ZIP codes.

The attorneys at The Seegmiller Law Firm want to remind everyone in these ZIP codes to be aware of this threat and to contact their physician with any concerns or questions.
