ANAHEIM, California (April 5, 2013) –  A woman driving a motor scooter was killed Thursday afternoon after she crashed with the driver of a pick-up truck on Euclid Street just north of Crone Avenue, according to a report by the Orange County Sheriff Coroner Department.

The Anaheim Police Department responded to the scene of the traffic accident about 1:12 p.m. Paramedics responded to the scene of the scooter accident and pronounced the woman dead at the scene upon their arrival.

“Drivers need to be alert for motor scooters, motorcycles and other vulnerable motorists who share the roadway with larger vehicles,” said Attorney West Seegmiller.
